Never Summer's stiffest and dampest board, the Chairman Snowboard handles exposed faces, bottomless powder, and steep groomers like a boss. This big mountain board absorbs tons of shock and high-speed vibration, allowing you to mow down anything standing in your way--including bumped-up runs and variable snow at the end of a powder day. Plus, its tapered directional shape keeps its nose from submerging when it's seriously deep. Based off Never Summer's Raptor and Premier F1, the Chairman is a mash-up of these two boards, creating an elite freeride deck that's capable of tackling the most technical bowls and deepest pow. This year, Never Summer upgraded this board with the aggressive Ripsaw Rocker Camber for even more edge hold and pop. The Chairman Power Grip sidecut utilizes even more radii than the Vario Power Grip to create additional contact points for insane edge hold, even on the iciest slopes. Designed to ensure a smooth ride from bumpy runs and high-speed chatter, its RDS 1+ Damping System uses twice the amount of elastomeric rubber foil as the usual RDS 1 Damping, giving the Chairman the most cushiest feel in Never Summer's line-up. Carbon laminates enhance edge-to-edge energy transfer and torsional rigidity to help you hold an edge at high speeds and explode out of pow slashes. Add in a lightning-fast Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 base, and you've got yourself a board that's comfortable straight-lining at high speeds all over the mountain.
