These very thin hybrid coatings combine the qualities of organic and inorganic materials at molecular level to create a glassy, extremely hard surface which is stable up to 750° F.Ceramic coating has a high degree of hardness combined with very high temperature resistance (about 750°F), extraordinary easy to clean properties, as well as scratch resistance. Ceramic coatings are PFOA free, and due to lower curing temperatures the energy consumption during the manufacturing process is lower than for conventional non-stick PTFE coatings. Ceramic coatings are available in different colors. Ceramic is comparable to glass: extremely hard but also brittle.
